Christina was airlifted to the University Hospital's Trauma I Center in San Antonio, Texas where she underwent extensive medical treatment including surgeries and rehabilitation after relying on a wheelchair to move around. The physical and emotional scars she endured became symbols of her triumph over adversity. Christina has since written an inspiring bestselling book Shattered Pieces Everywhere: How I Found True Joy In My Most Broken Moments which has inspired readers worldwide offering hope and encouragement to those facing their own struggles. She also found a partner who saw beyond her scars and physical limitations, igniting a newfound sense of worthiness and inner strength within her.
Now on the 25th anniversary of the accident, Christina is searching for the Good Samaritan who was by her side that day so that she can express her heartfelt gratitude for his act of kindness.
