AMARILLO, Texas - Txylo -- The Hope & Healing Place, a safe place for comfort and support for children, their families, and individuals who are grieving, is delighted to announce its upcoming event, "Hope for the Holidays." This holiday gathering is designed to provide comfort and guidance to those navigating the challenging journey of grief during the holiday season.
Date: October 29, 2024
Time: 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
Location: The Hope & Healing Place, 1721 S Tyler St, Amarillo
Open to the Public (children under 18, please come with a guardian)
The holiday season, traditionally a time of joy and celebration, can be especially challenging for those who have experienced the death of a significant person. At "Hope for the Holidays," HHP offers a safe and understanding environment for individuals and families to find comfort, share experiences, and learn how to cope with the unique challenges and grief this time of year can bring. This event aims to offer a renewed sense of hope and the tools to celebrate the holiday season after the death of a significant person.

The evening will feature "Tradition and Celebration After Death" themes, blending the comforting familiarity of holiday traditions with the power of shared experiences. It will be a night of refreshments, great discussions, and activities. There will be encouragement on how to adapt to traditions and celebrate the reality of the season you are presently experiencing. This event is provided free of charge.
Grief is a natural and unique journey for each individual, and The Hope & Healing Place firmly believes in providing support throughout that journey. This event is open to all families and individuals dealing with the death of a significant person, and it is not a requirement to have previously participated in an HHP program. For those under the age of 18, an adult companion is welcome.
The Hope & Healing Place extends a warm invitation to everyone in the Amarillo community to join us on October 29th from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at our Amarillo location.
