CLEVELAND, Texas - Txylo -- Colony Ridge proudly joined residents and local partners on Saturday, August 2nd, in support of the grand opening of new soccer fields at the Santa Fe Administration and Activities Building, located at 1680 County Rd 3549 in Cleveland, TX. The event welcomed families and guests for a day filled with vibrant activities and meaningful connections.
Guests were introduced to different leagues that will be available in the community, such as a league organized by San Esteban Episcopal Church, the Pumas Academy, and the Cleveland Indians Soccer Academy. A big thank you to the coaches from these teams who volunteered to help lead the community through soccer drills and scrimmages.
A memorable ribbon-cutting ceremony went on as planned—even through heavy rain—demonstrating the dedication and enthusiasm shared by all who attended.
Colony Ridge participated alongside community vendors to engage with residents and offer helpful services. Booths from CH&P Management and Colony Ridge team members were available to assist residents with learning how to use Pay Near Me, a secure and convenient digital tool. Additional highlights included cultural performances by traditional dancers, volunteer stands, and community outreach by Primera Baptist Church and San Esteban Episcopal Church.

Vendors such as Camare Custom Creations added creativity to the celebration, while another food vendor served crowd favorites like nachos with fajita and tacos. Guests also enjoyed chips, drinks, and a raffle that brought extra excitement to the day. Local constables were also present to engage with families and help foster a safe and positive event atmosphere.
Despite the rain, the event remained lively and well-attended. The heavy rain did little to dampen the spirit of the event, as guests continued to connect, participate, and enjoy the day together.
