Comerica Bank Appoints Established Banking, Community Leader Stephen Jeffrey to Austin Market President

AUSTIN, Texas, June 26, 2025 ~ Comerica Bank has announced the appointment of Stephen Jeffrey as its new Senior Vice President and Austin Market President. In this role, Jeffrey will be responsible for leading market strategy, fostering collaboration, driving community development, and overseeing overall growth in the region. He will also serve as the Group Manager of Business Banking and Middle Market, directing the bank's commercial team.

According to Corey Bailey, Comerica's Executive Vice President and Executive Director of Middle Market and Business Banking, Jeffrey's extensive experience in banking combined with his deep roots in the community make him a valuable addition to the team. Jeffrey has over 27 years of experience in Private and Commercial banking in Central Texas. Prior to joining Comerica Bank, he worked at PNC Bank. As a fourth generation Austin native, Jeffrey's family has been actively involved in the community for more than a century as artists, supporters, and advocates in music, local business, and public service. In addition to his successful banking career, Jeffrey is also an accomplished musician.

He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Austin PBS, Headliners Club, Austin Opera, and Health Alliance for Austin Musicians where he holds the position of treasurer. Jeffrey is also a graduate of Leadership Austin Essential Class of 2016 and holds a Certificate of Executive Leadership from University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Business. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in finance from Texas State University.

With his extensive experience in banking and strong ties to the community, Stephen Jeffrey is well-equipped to lead Comerica Bank's operations in the Austin market and drive growth in the region.
