Christie Schofield and Randy Herbertson bring leadership in healthcare access, innovation, and brand strategy to advance supportive cancer care nationwide.
BEDMINSTER, N.J. - Txylo -- Crossroads4Hope, A Network of Cancer Support (CR4H), is proud to announce the appointment of Christie Schofield and Randy Herbertson to its Board of Trustees, strengthening the organization's leadership at a pivotal moment in cancer care and community support.
Crossroads4Hope provides whole-person and family supportive cancer care - including oncology social work, child life services, nutrition, education, navigation, and mind-body programs - at no charge to individuals and families impacted by cancer.
"Cancer creates an unimaginable burden on individuals and families - yet, fewer than 10% report having access to the supportive care they need - something Crossroads4Hope has been working to change," said Amy Sutton, CEO of Crossroads4Hope. "This care gap impacts quality of life, the ability to work and care for family, and, most importantly, it can prevent people from staying in care, putting lives at risk. Individuals diagnosed with cancer, their caregivers, and loved ones, need access to emotional, social, and practical support to live through and beyond cancer with strength and hope—exactly the care we provide."
"We are honored to welcome Christie and Randy at this pivotal moment in healthcare, as we enter our 25th year - working toward a world where, beyond lifesaving medicine, whole-person, family-centered care is the standard of care for everyone," Sutton said. "Their powerful blend of leadership, expertise, and shared values will help expand life-changing access to no-cost supportive cancer care and meet the growing needs of individuals and families nationwide."
