For over 50 years, the Texas Film Commission has played a crucial role in promoting Texas as a premier destination for various forms of media production such as film, television, commercials, animation, visual effects, video games, and extended reality. Through its efforts, the commission has attracted over $2.5 billion in local spending and created more than 189,000 production jobs across the state from 2007 to 2024.
