~ Governor Greg Abbott has announced that the Texas Music Office (TMO) and Visit Pearland will be co-hosting a workshop on June 24 in Pearland. The workshop will be both virtual and in-person, providing an opportunity for musicians, venues, and the general public to participate.
According to Governor Abbott, music is a crucial part of the Texas brand. He expressed his gratitude towards the TMO for their efforts in helping communities across the state develop creative partnerships and create new jobs. By working alongside local leaders like those in Pearland, Governor Abbott believes that Texas communities will have the necessary tools to succeed.
The workshop will feature TMO Community Relations and Outreach Specialist Gini Mascorro, who will explain the Music Friendly Texas Community designation and its benefits. She will also be available to answer any questions from participants.
