According to Governor Abbott, the "Made in Texas" brand has never been more powerful thanks to the contributions of manufacturers. The governor also highlighted the crucial role of Texas manufacturers in the state's economy, which is currently valued at over $2.7 trillion and ranks as the eighth largest economy in the world. He noted that with a strong manufacturing industrial base and workforce, Texas continues to set records for job growth. In fact, in the second quarter of 2025 alone, the state's economy expanded by 6.8%.
