PITTSBURGH, May 27, 2024 ~ San Angelo, Texas - An inventor from San Angelo, Texas has created a new device that aims to enhance safety for truckers on the road. The TIE DOWN TENSION MONITOR, a patent-pending invention, automatically detects any danger posed by loosening cargo chains or straps on a flatbed trailer while traveling.

The inventor, who is also a trucker, was inspired to create the device after being well aware of the dangers that come with shifting or settling cargo while on the highway. "As a trucker, I am well aware of the dangers posed when cargo chains or straps loosen on a flatbed trailer while traveling," he said.
