PITTSBURGH, May 27, 2024 ~ San Angelo, Texas - An inventor from San Angelo, Texas has created a new device that aims to enhance safety for truckers on the road. The TIE DOWN TENSION MONITOR, a patent-pending invention, automatically detects any danger posed by loosening cargo chains or straps on a flatbed trailer while traveling.
The inventor, who is also a trucker, was inspired to create the device after being well aware of the dangers that come with shifting or settling cargo while on the highway. "As a trucker, I am well aware of the dangers posed when cargo chains or straps loosen on a flatbed trailer while traveling," he said.

The TIE DOWN TENSION MONITOR provides an automatic warning to the operator in case of any shifting or settling cargo. This prevents them from being completely unaware of any potential hazards and helps avoid serious highway accidents. The device is designed to be easy to use and is suitable for trucking companies and individual truck drivers.
The original design was submitted to the National sales office of InventHelp and is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers. For more information about this invention, interested parties can write to Dept. 22-CTK-8220 at InventHelp's headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA or call (412) 288-1300 ext. 1368.
