PITTSBURGH, Sept. 27, 2024 ~ Haslet, Texas - A new invention has been created to prevent patio umbrellas from breaking during strong winds. The UMBRELLA BRACE, designed by a local inventor, provides support for the tilt mechanism of patio umbrellas and allows them to remain upright even if the mechanism breaks.
The inventor, who wishes to remain anonymous, came up with the idea after experiencing frustration with broken patio umbrellas. "I thought there should be a way to support the tilt mechanism on a patio umbrella," they said. "So I invented the UMBRELLA BRACE."
The patent-pending invention not only prevents the tilt mechanism from breaking, but also increases overall support for the umbrella. This could potentially extend the life of the umbrella and save consumers money in replacement costs.
