PORTSMOUTH, N.H., March 4, 2024 ~ At just 23 years old, Ally Venable has already established herself as a prominent figure in the world of roots music. With each new album and high-energy performance, her name continues to grow in stature. And on Thursday March 22 at 7:30 P.M., fans will have the chance to see her fiery presence live at Jimmy's Jazz & Blues Club in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

Venable first burst onto the scene at the young age of 16 with the release of her debut album. Since then, she has released four more albums, including her acclaimed fifth album 'Real Gone!' in 2023. This album featured guest appearances by blues legends Joe Bonamassa and Buddy Guy.

Fans can expect an unforgettable show from Venable and her band at Jimmy's Jazz & Blues Club. Known for her ripping guitar skills, powerful vocals, and relatable songwriting, Venable has been praised by critics and fellow musicians alike. Blues Rock Review called her "an absolutely ripping guitar player with style and tone for days," while Guitar Player Magazine raved about her "gritty and sultry blues rock tunes embellished with lots of tasty guitar solos."

Hailing from Kilgore, Texas, Venable's love for music started at a young age when she began singing at church. She picked up the guitar at 12 years old and by 13 had formed her own band. Influenced by artists like Stevie Ray Vaughan, she quickly developed a passion for blues music.

Her early albums No Glass Shoes (2016) and Puppet Show (2018) helped establish her fanbase, but it was 2019's Texas Honey that really put her on the map. The album reached #2 on the Billboard Blues Chart and led to international recognition through Ruf's European Blues Caravan tour.

In 2021, Venable released another chart-topping album titled Heart of Fire. This album challenged her to write about not only love, but also the raw and honest emotions of pain. She collaborated with mentor Kenny Wayne Shepherd on the song "Bring on the Pain," which charted on SiriusXM's Bluesville.

Venable's talent has not gone unnoticed, as she was named #2 on Guitar World Magazine's Top 15 Young Guns Making the Gibson Les Paul Cool Again in 2022. She also received the "Road Warrior" award from the Independent Blues Music Awards. Along with her bandmates Isaac Pulido (drums) and EJ Bedford (bass), Venable delivers an energetic and entertaining show that leaves audiences wanting more.
