North Texas Fentanyl Coalition Hosts "Walk for Lives" to Honor Victims and Raise Awareness

FORT WORTH, Texas - Txylo -- The North Texas Fentanyl Coalition (NTXFC) will host the first annual Walk for Lives in Fort Worth's Magnolia District at Fire Station Park, bringing together families, advocates, and community leaders to raise awareness about the fentanyl epidemic.

One of the voices leading this year's walk is Linda Kelly, who lost her grandson Rayce to fentanyl poisoning. "Rayce had his whole life ahead of him," said Kelly. "By walking in his memory, we hope to prevent other families from suffering this heartbreak."

The event will feature a memorial wall honoring lives lost, resource tables from partner organizations, and speakers including parents and community leaders. Families are invited to walk together in remembrance and in action, amplifying the message that "one pill can kill."

The walk is part of a national Walk for Lives initiative, with NTXFC proudly serving as the Fort Worth host. By uniting voices, the coalition aims to push for stronger prevention efforts, support for grieving families, and a safer future for the next generation.
