SPRING, Texas ~ Perma-Pipe International Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: PPIH) has appointed Chuck Heaton as Vice President of Human Resources, replacing Jill Curry. Heaton is tasked with providing Human Resources strategy and leadership in developing and shaping key core competencies within PPIH that support the continuing growth of the company's business globally.

President and CEO Dave Mansfield commented, "I am pleased that Chuck has agreed to join PPIH as our Vice President of Human Resources to lead the company's Human Resources Group. His background in the Oil and Gas Industry in both domestic and international markets is a great addition to the Company's leadership team."

Heaton has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Resource Management from Auburn University and holds both SPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications. He has extensive experience working globally including North and South America, Caribbean, Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia Pacific. He has spent a total of 27 years in the Oil & Gas industry in both the public and private sector in a variety of regional and global positions at such companies as Pennzoil, Intertek, Dresser, GE Oil & Gas and TechnipFMC. Prior to joining PERMA-PIPE, he was the Chief Human Resources Officer at Camin Cargo Control, a provider of inspection services to the energy and commodities sector. Before that he was Vice President of Human Resources at NexTier Oilfield Solutions, a land completion services organization.
