DALLAS - Txylo -- With the recent overturning of Roe v. Wade by the U.S. Supreme Court, many in the pro-life movement are celebrating this momentous, once in a generation occasion. For the last 50 years, this landmark case has shaped social causes and political races in cities and communities all across the country, taking the power out of the hands of the state and citizenry to decide to what level if any that they would want to allow abortion.
Through this latest decision by the Supreme Court, the balance of power has shifted back to the states on this issue, but some in the pro-choice community have challenged conservatives on the issue of what alternative care they will provide.
Daystar has chosen to meet that challenge by partnering with Pastor John Hagee and Sanctuary of Hope, a non-profit home for young mothers with a focus of giving them and their unborn babies a safe and encouraging future. On Monday, June 27, 2022, Daystar President and host of Ministry Now, Joni Lamb, informed their international viewing audience that the network was donating $50,000 to Sanctuary of Hope to help provide the resources necessary to make sure these pregnant women in crisis have the support they need.

"When it comes to the issue of standing up for the unborn, we cannot simply say that making sure these babies are not aborted is good enough," said Joni Lamb, President of Daystar Television Network. "We believe that these mothers and children should have what they need to ensure they have every chance to have a better future."
To date, more than 60 million babies have been aborted in America alone, and with the overturning of Roe v. Wade, ministries like these have a unique opportunity to impact lives in a tangible way both inside and outside the womb.
