DALLAS, Jan. 16, 2025 ~ Journalist: Provident Industrial, a division of Dallas-based Provident, has announced plans to break ground on a new industrial site in Arlington, Texas. The site, located at 500 E. Bardin Rd, is fully entitled and strategically situated in the heart of the Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) Metroplex in the Lower GSW submarket.
The location offers unparalleled connectivity, with just 17 miles from downtown Fort Worth, 19 miles from DFW International Airport, and 25 miles from downtown Dallas. Its prime position provides easy access to I-20, connecting tenants to both I-35W (Fort Worth) and I-35E (Dallas), as well as State Highway 360.
Known as the A20 Logistics Center, this state-of-the-art facility will span over 161,408 square feet and feature a ±2,100-square-foot speculative office. It has been designed with modern industrial users in mind and will boast a 32-foot clear height, 34 dock doors, 2 oversized drive-in doors with ramps, LED lighting throughout the warehouse, and a 130-foot truck court that can be fully secured.

The project is scheduled for completion in Q1 of 2026 and will address the increasing demand for new industrial space in the Lower GSW submarket. Construction starts have slowed down significantly due to limited developable land remaining in the area. Provident Industrial's Managing Director Case Van Lare and Director Chris Martin are leading the development of A20 Logistics Center.
In an interview about the project, Chris Martin expressed his confidence in the Texas economy and specifically the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. He stated that A20 Logistics Center presents a rare opportunity to acquire a zoned infill industrial site in a submarket with high barriers to entry. He also highlighted Arlington's unique advantages such as convenient access to DFW's expansive highway network, a robust labor pool, and a business-friendly environment that fosters growth, making it an ideal location for tenants seeking top-tier logistics facilities.
The development of A20 Logistics Center is a partnership between Provident Industrial, Humphreys Capital, and Farmers Bank & Trust. The leasing of the project will be represented by Kurt Griffin, Nathan Orbin, Dalton Knipe, and Weston King of JLL. With its prime location and state-of-the-art features, A20 Logistics Center is expected to be a highly sought-after industrial facility in the Lower GSW submarket.
