SAN ANTONIO (June 17, 2021) — Today, Fiesta officially begins in San Antonio.  After over a year of delays due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we are finally ready to celebrate.  This citywide "party with a purpose" will be held from June 17th- 27th with an opening celebration at Hemisfair, followed by ten more days of events. Each Fiesta event will have its own Covid-19 protocols in place.

"After nearly a two-year pause, it is exciting to finally partake in Fiesta events again.  I encourage the community's participation, as these events raise funds to provide many different services to San Antonians in need throughout the year.  I would like to thank the Fiesta San Antonio Commission for all their hard work and preparation to safely bring Fiesta back to San Antonio. If you would like to attend Fiesta but are still in need of a Covid-19 vaccine, there are pop-up vaccination sites throughout the city that will prepare you to safely have fun while giving back.  We hope to see you out at the upcoming Fiesta events while celebrating the diverse heritage, culture, and spirit of San Antonio! VIVA FIESTA!"
