SAN ANTONIO (May 11, 2022) – Today, City Council was briefed on the Fiscal Year 2022 6 + 6 Financial Report, Mid-Year Budget Adjustment Recommendations, the Five-Year Financial Forecast covering Fiscal Year 2023 – Fiscal Year 2027, and the Fiscal Year 2023 Trial Budget. The following statement is the District 10 Councilman's response to today's briefing:

"I consider today's recommendations a homerun for District 10 and San Antonio as a whole. It's incredible to see additional property tax relief, police officers and public safety services, as well as infrastructure improvements be recognized as a priority and necessity for San Antonio as we continue to grow.  Property tax relief, public safety, and infrastructure have long been the priorities of District 10 neighbors, and our office is looking forward to sharing this win with them."

As part of the budget development process, the City will seek input from the community before preparing the Fiscal Year 2023 Proposed Budget in August of this year.
