"We're seeing long lines for reliable testing across the city," said Councilwoman Cabello Havrda. "Employers and schools are requiring proof of testing and the D6 team has been working hard to meet the needs in the District."
This weekend's testing is open to anyone in the city 5 years of age and older. Pre-registration is not required.
"We are very fortunate to work with District 6 to provide more opportunities for our constituents to access this life saving test," said Edgewood ISD Superintendent Dr. Eduardo Hernández.
District 6 is prepared to continue the testing beyond this weekend if the need persists.
