SAN ANTONIO (April 20, 2022) – Councilwoman Melissa Cabello Havrda is in Washington DC this week to participate in the prestigious Hispanas Organized for Political Equality's (HOPE) Nonpartisan Binational Public Service Fellowship.
The HOPE Fellowship is an executive leadership program for outstanding Latina professionals who, through increased competence in national and global economic and security issues, are in a position to make urgent and long-lasting improvements in the lives of Latinas in the United States and all communities.
"It's an honor to join the outstanding 2022 HOPE Binational Fellowship cohort of Latinas from across the U.S and Mexico," said the Councilwoman. "This is a unique opportunity to learn from their knowledge and expertise, as well as to share the love for San Antonio and the experience and knowledge gained through living and working in this great city."

The 2022 HOPE Binational Fellowship cohort includes top-tier industry C-Suite managers as well as nonprofit and elected leaders from across the country.
The fellowship's goals are to:
