San Antonio: New FitLot Exercise Station Opening at Normoyle Park

SAN ANTONIO (December 10, 2019) – The City of San Antonio is thrilled to open Texas' first AARP-sponsored outdoor fitness station at Normoyle Park (700 Culberson) on Tuesday, December 10 from 1pm to 3pm. The opening ceremony will include remarks from Mayor Ron Nirenberg and San Antonio City Councilwoman Shirley Gonzales. The public is invited to a free lunch from 1pm-2pm. The ribbon-cutting will take place at 2pm.

"The new FitLot exercise station is a wonderful amenity for our community and it is accessible for people with different abilities," noted Councilwoman Shirley Gonzales.  FitLot exercise equipment can be adapted to meet a wide range of fitness levels and abilities.
