SAN ANTONIO (May 11, 2022) — The City of San Antonio Planning Department is hosting an open house, at the Stinson Municipal Airport conference room, for the South Community Area Plan. The open house will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022, from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
The South Community Area Plan, launched earlier this year, is being developed to implement the SA Tomorrow Comprehensive Plan, which was adopted by City Council in 2016. Throughout this community-based planning process, the City will organize numerous engagement activities and participate in outreach events for residents and interested parties to share their vision for the area. Recommendations and strategies for the area will be created that when adopted, will be used by City Departments, partner agencies, private entities, and community partners to support livable, complete neighborhoods.

We are looking forward to engaging conversations with the community, and continued collaboration to develop a plan that will build on the areas' existing assets." said Bridgett White, AICP, Director of the Planning Department.
