DALLAS ~ Dallas-based environmental services company, Shamrock Environmental, has announced the acquisition of JG Environmental, a waste processing and disposal company based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. This marks Shamrock's fifth acquisition since 2020 under the ownership of CenterOak Partners.
JG Environmental provides a range of services including waste solidification, management, transportation, and industrial services to local customers. With this acquisition, Shamrock will now have over 50 new employees and expanded capabilities in Pennsylvania. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Shamrock's CEO Terry Healy expressed excitement about the addition of JG to their company. He stated that JG shares their commitment to providing top-notch environmental services while also prioritizing the protection of the local environment. With over 30 years of experience in the industry, Healy is confident that Shamrock is well-equipped to support JG's plans for long-term growth in the Northeast.

According to Jason Sutherland, a Managing Partner at CenterOak, this acquisition will allow Shamrock to offer comprehensive environmental services along the East Coast from Florida to Pennsylvania. He also noted that JG's focus on developing permitted waste processing facilities aligns with Shamrock's approach and will further enhance their ability to meet the recurring service and disposal needs of local customers.
With this latest acquisition, Shamrock now treats over 210 million gallons of liquid waste annually for approximately 2,000 customers across more than 20 states. The company continues to expand its reach and capabilities under CenterOak's ownership and is poised for continued growth in the future.
