Limited ~ Houston-based Shipley Do-Nuts has added a new twist to their popular Egg & Cheese kolache lineup - bacon. The iconic Texas-born donut and kolache brand announced the limited-time addition of Bacon, Egg & Cheese kolaches, America's favorite breakfast item.
These new kolaches are handmade and filled with buttery scrambled eggs, applewood-smoked bacon, and melted American cheese. They are baked fresh daily to a golden perfection and priced at just $3.49. This protein-packed breakfast option is perfect for those on-the-go and will be available until December 31st.
According to Shipley CEO Flynn Dekker, the Egg & Cheese kolaches have been the biggest product launch in the company's history. The overwhelming response from customers has led to their permanent spot on the menu. Dekker also expressed excitement for future product innovations that will continue to drive growth for the Shipley brand.

Shipley, which recently celebrated its 88th birthday, first introduced kolaches in 1995. These filled pastries were originally brought to Texas by Czech settlers in the 1800s. In addition to the new Bacon, Egg & Cheese option, Shipley also offers Ham & Cheese, Sausage, Sausage & Cheese, and Sausage, Cheese & Jalapeno kolaches.
Executive Chef Kaitlyn Venable shared her enthusiasm for the endless possibilities of kolaches and hinted at more variety coming to the menu in the future. As Shipley continues to offer specialty donuts and other new items, customers will have even more delicious reasons to visit.
