DALLAS, July 17, 2024 ~ Smoothie King, the world's largest smoothie brand and a pioneer in the health and fitness fast casual industry, has just released its Q2 2024 brand update. The company reported an impressive 18 new store openings and 34 new store commitments within the quarter.

The 18 new store openings span across various markets including Georgia, Texas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Tennessee, Florida, New York, Kentucky, Colorado, and Wisconsin. One notable opening is the new Atlanta location which is owned by rapper and long-time Smoothie King fan, 2 Chainz. This store was opened in partnership with franchisee Philip Jones at Atlanta's State Farm Arena in June 2024.

In addition to these traditional store openings, Smoothie King also announced its next non-traditional unit set to open this month at Terminal A of the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. The majority of Q2's new store commitments (64%) were made by existing Smoothie King franchisees, indicating their confidence and excitement in the brand's investment opportunity. These commitments were made in eleven different states including Grand Rapids, MI and Toledo, OH where Smoothie King will be entering for the first time. The brand plans to open six units in Grand Rapids and five units in Toledo.
