~ In a recent report released by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), Texas has once again proven to be the leader in job creation among all states. Governor Greg Abbott expressed his congratulations to the hardworking Texans and employers for their efforts in adding 327,400 nonfarm jobs from September 2023 to September 2024.

Governor Abbott stated, "Texas continues to dominate as America's jobs engine. America's leading businesses are fleeing the stranglehold of over-regulation in other states for the competitive business advantages found only in Texas." He also highlighted the state's Best Business Climate and highly skilled, diverse, and growing workforce as key factors that attract businesses and entrepreneurs to Texas.

The BLS employment release comes just days after Governor Abbott announced the strength of the Texas economy on Friday. The Texas Workforce Commission reported that over the last 12 months, Texas has grown jobs at a faster rate than the rest of the country. Additionally, Texas has set new record highs for total jobs, number of employed Texans, and size of the labor force.

Under Governor Abbott's leadership, Texas has added over 2.4 million jobs since he took office. This remarkable growth is a testament to his commitment to creating economic opportunities for all Texans.

Governor Abbott concluded by saying, "Working together, we will build a bigger, better Texas for all." With this continued success in job creation and economic growth, it is clear that Texas is on track to achieve just that.
