~ Eagle Pass, TX - Governor Greg Abbott has announced that the next 2025 Governor's Small Business Summit will be held in Eagle Pass on Thursday, September 11. This event is part of a series of summits held throughout the year in different regions across the state, with the aim of providing resources and information to help Texas small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs succeed.
According to Governor Abbott, small businesses are the backbone of Texas' thriving economy. With over 3.5 million small businesses in the state and employing nearly half of all working Texans, Texas continues to lead in job creation and business expansion. The Governor invites all small business owners and entrepreneurs to attend this summit or one in their region, as together they can ensure that the small business community continues to thrive and contribute to a stronger and more prosperous Texas for generations to come.
The Governor's Small Business Summit - Eagle Pass will bring together local, state, and federal resource partners to provide insights on critical business topics. Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with other business owners and meet experts who will share timely advice on a variety of small business topics.

The summit will take place at the International Center for Trade located at 3295 Bob Rogers Dr. in Eagle Pass from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 11. The panel sessions will cover topics such as knowing when to scale or sell your business, financing strategies for small businesses, marketing insights for real results, and a crash course on small business basics. The featured speaker for this event is Joe Esparza, Commissioner Representing Employers at the Texas Workforce Commission.
Registration for this event is $20 and includes access to all sessions, resource providers, lunch, and complimentary headshots.
