Texas: Governor Abbott Appoints Davis To 480th Judicial District Court

~ Leander resident Terence Davis has been appointed by Governor Greg Abbott to serve on the 480th Judicial District Court in Williamson County. Davis, who is an attorney and owner of the Davis Law Firm, P.C., will hold this position until December 31, 2024, or until a successor is elected and qualified.

Davis brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having been board certified in family law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He is also a member of the State Bar of Texas and its Family Law Section, as well as a former president and board member of the Williamson County Bar Association.

In addition to his legal work, Davis is also actively involved in his community. He is a founding member of the Williamson County American Inn of Court and co-founder of the Christian Legal Society of Williamson County. He also serves as a board member for Journey Bible Fellowship Church and has previously held positions as president and board member for the Block House Municipal Utility District.

Davis holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State University) and a Juris Doctor from St. Mary's University School of Law. With his extensive background and qualifications, he is well-equipped to serve on the 480th Judicial District Court in Williamson County.
