Texas: Governor Abbott Appoints Pierce To 180th Judicial District Court

~ Governor Greg Abbott has appointed Tami Pierce to serve as a judge in the 180th Judicial District Court in Harris County. Pierce, a resident of Humble, is an experienced attorney and the owner of Pierce Law Firm in Kingwood. She brings a wealth of legal knowledge and expertise to her new role, having previously served as an assistant district attorney in Polk, San Jacinto, and Liberty counties. Pierce is a member of several prestigious legal organizations, including the Texas State Bar, American Bar Association, and Texas Bar Association. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northeast Louisiana University and a Juris Doctor from Thurgood Marshall School of Law. Her term on the court will expire on December 31, 2026 or until her successor is elected and qualified.
