~ Austin, Texas- Governor Greg Abbott and First Lady Cecilia Abbott took time out of their busy schedules to give back to the community by volunteering with Meals on Wheels Central Texas. The couple spent the morning delivering Thanksgiving meals to families and homebound seniors in Austin.
Governor Abbott expressed his family's tradition of volunteering with Meals on Wheels during the holiday season, stating that it brings warmth and nourishment to Texans. He emphasized the importance of helping fellow Texans, especially seniors, during this time of year. The Governor also extended his well wishes for a blessed and happy Thanksgiving to all Texans.
