~ Houston, TX - Governor Greg Abbott has announced the reappointment of Bruce Oakley to the Board of Pilot Commissioners for Harris County Ports. Oakley, a Houston native, will serve a term set to expire on February 1, 2028.
With an impressive background in law and public service, Oakley brings a wealth of experience to the board. He is currently a partner at Hogan Lovells U.S. and previously served as judge of the 234th Judicial District Court in Harris County.
In addition to his legal career, Oakley is an active member of several professional organizations including the State Bar of Texas, Houston Bar Association, American Board of Trial Advocates, and Bar of the Supreme Court of the U.S.
