ARLINGTON, Va., Jan. 17, 2025 ~ The ALS Association is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated ALS Nexus 2025 conference, set to take place from August 11-14 at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas. This year's event builds upon the success of last year's inaugural conference and offers a unique opportunity for individuals from all aspects of the ALS community to come together and drive progress towards making ALS a manageable disease.
Attendees can look forward to connecting with peers, other ALS organization partners, and gaining valuable insights from healthcare professionals, researchers, and experts in the field. The conference will feature sessions highlighting cutting-edge research, clinical advancements, advocacy strategies for increased funding and impactful legislation, as well as tools to shape the future of ALS care and patient support.
President and CEO of the ALS Association, Calaneet Balas, expressed her excitement for this year's conference stating, "ALS Nexus is an opportunity for our entire community to unite in our efforts towards making ALS livable and finding a cure. We are dedicated to ensuring that our work has a meaningful impact on those living with ALS and their loved ones. This year, we are determined to continue the momentum we started last year – we will not rest until we have made significant progress towards making ALS livable and finding a cure."
