AUSTIN, Texas - Txylo -- Remote Worker maintains that the age of job seekers physically pounding the pavement in search of employment and companies using traditional methods and compensation to entice them is steadily coming to an end. More and more studies are confirming that the COVID-19 pandemic has had a lasting impact on the global workforce — one that lingers even as the world moves towards a post-pandemic reality.
Remote Worker is designed to help hiring managers and businesses connect with job-seeking professionals for remote work positions. The organization maintains that remote work is a permanent fixture of the modern workforce. Further, it has cautioned employers that they are doing themselves a disservice by rejecting remote work, which most American workers consider highly desirable.
Joseph Boll, Remote Worker CEO, said, "The old way of working is heading out of the door. With COVID, workers began rethinking their priorities and the kind of life they want to live. As we all know, this led to the Great Resignation, and even now, workers are no longer being swayed by traditional offerings."

The CEO added, "It will take more than a fancy title and salary to win back the workforce that walked away. They want employers who will give them flexibility and appreciation for their personal lives. Remote work is the answer to the gap between employers losing their best workers and employees who want a more fulfilling work-life balance."
In line with Boll's opinion, consultancy giant McKinsey & Company recently noted the "fundamental mismatch between companies' demand for talent and the number of workers willing to supply it".
"Employers continue to rely on traditional levers to attract and retain people, including compensation, titles and advancement opportunities," McKinsey said. "Those factors are important, particularly for a large reservoir of workers we call 'traditionalists.' However, the COVID-19 pandemic has led more and more people to reevaluate what they want from a job — and from life — which is creating a large pool of active and potential workers who are shunning the traditionalist path."

However, it acknowledged that millions of workers can be attracted by "radical flexibility", such as through the highly popular remote work. These jobseekers and the organizations looking to hire them can benefit from services like Remote Worker in finding the best mutually beneficial match.
