The Inaugral Epic Fit Fest: An Epic Success!

GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas - Txylo -- The inaugural Epic Fit Fest, held on Sunday, September 22nd at The Epic, was a resounding success, attracting over 400 fitness enthusiasts and wellness advocates for a day packed with energetic activities and community engagement.

The event featured an impressive lineup of sponsors, including Red Bull, Texas Trust Credit Union, The Harrison Firm, Uncle Nearest, Manna Juice Bar, Bubblr, Flourish Curls Salon, Black Merch, Urban Skin RX and Black Girl Vitamins, who all played a crucial role in making this event possible.

The day kicked off at 10 am with a warm up led by Run It Up Dallas founder, Theo Murdaugh, invigorating HIIT classes led by fitness experts D Nicole Monroe and Baylore Walker, followed by a unique Trap Yoga session led by Devyn Walker, allowing attendees to experience fitness in a fun and engaging way.

Dr. Kristi Andrew, co-founder of the event, expressed her excitement: "Hosting our first major event was an incredible experience. Seeing the community come together in celebration of health and wellness was truly inspiring. We couldn't have asked for a better turnout!"

Total Wellness & Beauty pampered VIP attendees with complimentary B12 shots and IV drips, while the TRZ Recovery Tent, YMCA Motus Fit, and Green Jacket Indoor Golf provided additional wellness and fitness experiences for all attendees to enjoy.

With over 20 vendors showcasing their products and services, attendees had the opportunity to explore local businesses and learn more about health and wellness options available in the community. The Epic Fit Fest was not just an event; it was a celebration of health, community, and the vibrant culture of fitness in Grand Prairie.

Attendees enjoyed delicious offerings from food trucks, including CJ's Brunch House Truck, Kev's Que, and Supermarket Stakeout winner Chef Allen, ensuring everyone left satisfied and fueled.

DJ Duffey, also a co-founder, added, "This event exceeded our expectations! It was amazing to witness so many people engaging in fitness, wellness, and community. We are thrilled with how it turned out and can't wait for the next one!"
