15-year senior housing marketing veteran joins the team behind Aderra at Audubon, a new 62+ community in Magnolia, Texas, where seniors can own their homes
MAGNOLIA, Texas - Txylo -- MAGNOLIA, Texas — TKG Developments has hired Jeremiah Mohr as Marketing Director for Aderra, the company's new 62+ senior living concept. Aderra at Audubon, the first community of its kind, is under construction in the Audubon master-planned community in Magnolia, just outside Houston, with model homes set to open in July.
Mohr has spent the last 15 years marketing senior housing, working with both new developments and established communities around the country to raise public awareness and grow occupancy. His background covers branding, print, community outreach, digital and web work, SEO and SEM, social media, and video production. He earned his bachelor's degree in Radio, Television and Film from the University of North Texas.
Aderra is a different kind of senior living community: residents own their homes, which start in the low $300,000s, and also receive services such as housekeeping, transportation, home and yard maintenance, and daily chef-prepared meals. Because residents hold the deed, they build equity in a home they can eventually pass down to family.

"I'm excited to bring my experience to a group of people who are genuinely devoted to making life better for seniors," Mohr said. "Marketing a new type of product is exactly the kind of challenge I enjoy. When most people hear 'senior living,' they picture a building with leased rooms, or independent homes with no services at all. The idea that seniors can now own their home and still get the same level of service as a traditional community is what makes Aderra stand out to me. Models open in July, and I can't wait to show people they can stay in a home they own — one they can leave to the people they love."
"Our seniors want to live in their home as long as humanly possible," said Kip Dornhorst, Executive Director of Aderra. "Aderra is the first of its kind that lets them do that. We're excited to have Mr. Mohr join our team."
"I've been in construction a long time, and nothing has been more rewarding than this project," added Clayton Dornhorst, Vice President of TKG Developments.
