PLANO, Texas, Feb. 5, 2025 ~ U.S. Renal Care (USRC), the leading dialysis provider in the country known for its exceptional clinical quality and patient experience, is proud to announce the 10th anniversary of its Nephrology Business Leadership Conference (NBLU). This annual educational program, established in 2016 in partnership with Dallas Renal Group and the University of California San Diego, aims to equip senior nephrology fellows with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their professional careers.

NBLU is designed to complement the clinical expertise gained through fellowship programs by providing a comprehensive, hands-on experience that focuses on the business aspects of nephrology. This preparation is crucial as these fellows navigate the ever-evolving healthcare landscape.

"It brings me immense joy to see the next generation of nephrology leaders taking charge of their careers, building lifelong connections, and shaping the future of nephrology," said Mary Dittrich, MD, FASN, Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of U.S. Renal Care. "We are proud to continue supporting NBLU in its commitment to preparing nephrology fellows for success. I look forward to attending NBLU each year and celebrating its significant impact over the past decade."

From August 12-17, 2025, selected fellows will gather in Plano, Texas for NBLU 2024. They will be joined by practicing nephrologists, hospital and dialysis provider executives, as well as leaders from national nephrology organizations such as American Association of Kidney Patients (AAKP), American Society of Nephrology (ASN), National Kidney Foundation (NKF), Renal Physicians Association (RPA), and Women in Nephrology (WIN). Together, they will deepen their leadership skills, establish important mentorships, and hone key skills necessary for job searching and interviews.
