This year's annual fundraiser will kick-off the 100th Anniversary of Meacham Airport in 2025. Enjoy a fun-filled evening of dinner and dancing celebrating the upcoming anniversary.
FORT WORTH, Texas - Txylo -- WHAT: The Vintage Flying Museum will be hosting its 32nd Annual Big Band Hangar Dance and Silent Auction. This year's annual fundraiser will kick-off the 100th Anniversary of Meacham Airport in 2025. Enjoy a fun-filled evening of dinner and dancing celebrating the upcoming anniversary.
WHEN: Saturday, October 12, 2024. The event starts with dinner from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. followed by dancing from 8 p.m. to midnight. Nostalgic C-47 rides will begin at 7:00 p.m.
WHERE: Vintage Flying Museum at Meacham Airport located at 505 N.W. 38th Street, Hangar 33S, Fort Worth, Texas 76106.
EVENT INFORMATION: Staged in an authentic World War II B-29 hangar and surrounded by the music of Dynamic Swing Machine, a community band serving North Texas for 35 years, this event will take you back in time for a fun filled evening of vintage aviation and swing dancing. Surrounded by guests dressed as famous aviators or in WWII military uniforms and traditional 40s attire, you will truly feel like you have walked into a page from the history books. The Silent Auction offers many unique gifts for your holiday shopping list. Period dress is optional with prizes being awarded for the best period attire.

Advanced dinner and dance tickets are $65. Dance only tickets are $40 in advance, or $45 at the door. Reserved tables are available with the purchase of ten tickets. Corporate tables are also available for $1400. The event is BYOB with soft drinks and snacks available for purchase.
