Kennisha Griffin, an adjunct professor and the owner and writing mentor at Create and Blossom Studios, teaches the elements of storytelling and the steps to publish a children's book in a course in the Kids College program.
WACO, Texas - Txylo -- Many Texas public schools have changed the traditional school week from five days to four. According to the National Conference of State Legislatures, "Reasons for implementing the shorter week vary, but most school districts choose a shorter week to cut costs due to budget constraints." In Texas, more than 70 districts will run a four-day school week. The additional day prompted McLennan Community College to run a Kids College program to allow children to participate in interactive learning courses from business professionals in Waco. Kennisha Griffin, an adjunct professor and the owner of Create and Blossom Studios, teaches a storytelling and book publishing course that inspires children to explore their creativity and write a book.
