EL PASO, Texas - Txylo -- "Family Story Day" is a quarterly traveling Author event, sponsored by KMP Entertainment, that celebrates literacy, allows Authors to network with one another, and exposes reading audiences to a host of new stories, including fiction, non-fiction, young adult and children's books. The event has generated excitement for attendees and been met with success in multiple cities since it's inception eleven years ago. The event was formerly held exclusively in North Hollywood, California at the Amelia Earhart Library. During the pandemic, its founders decided to bring the event to their hometown of El Paso, Texas.
The October 5th event will be held at the Esperanza Acosta Moreno Library, located on the city's East Side, at 12480 Pebble Hills Blvd from 1 PM to 5 PM. The event is FREE to attend. Fourteen authors will be present to share about their books. The event will include giveaways, activities, presentations, and a plethora of fun!
Three time Best Selling Author Michelle Murray, COO of KMP Entertainment, will be on hand with thirteen other authors and several of her books, including her latest leadership read: "Grass Is Green Where It's Watered." Michelle and her son Kendal founded and organized the Family Story Day concept.

"Literacy has the power to impact families for multiple generations. So I have a passion for giving whole families access to new ideas, new worlds, in the form of the written word. I grew up reading and writing at the breakfast table with my grandparents, making mock newspapers, solving problems, entertaining myself and learning through the written word. Words can inspire, provoke thought, and stoke imagination. KMP Entertainment wants to share that with as many people around the globe as possible."
Kendal Murray, CEO of KMP Entertainment, who designed the cover of book "Declan the Dancing Dragon", offered to this writer "reading enhances your critical thinking skills and ability to understand the world around you. We want to put that power in the hands of every single person we can."
