The hosted server gives agents keyless access to Tap.Giving pricing, artwork specs, and quotes, with order setup by API key and payment handed off by a hosted invoice link.

HOUSTON - Txylo -- Tap.Giving, a Houston-area hardware company founded by a pastor, has launched NFC Tap Builder by Tap.Giving, a hosted Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that lets AI agents design and order custom NFC tap-to-give discs for churches and nonprofits.

Tap.Giving discs are custom 4-inch discs built around a locked NTAG213 NFC chip. A church member holds a phone against a disc mounted on a pew back or chair back, and the church's giving page opens. No app download and no QR code scan are required. Tap.Giving does not process payments; each donation is completed through whichever platform the church has already set up, including Tithely, Pushpay, Givelify, Donorbox, Subsplash, or Anedot.

The new server exposes the buying path to agents directly. Discovery, published pricing, artwork specifications, and quotes are available without a key, so an agent can answer questions and price an order for its user with no friction. Order setup uses an API key. The server moves no money itself: payment is handed off through a hosted invoice link, and design approval and payment remain human steps. An agent holding only an email address can also register interest on a church's behalf.

Discs are sold as a one-time hardware purchase rather than a subscription. Pricing is $5.00 per disc for orders of 100 to 199 units, $4.00 per disc for 200 to 399, and $3.50 per disc for 400 or more, with a minimum order of 100 discs and free shipping. Every order includes the Tap.Giving Redirect Dashboard free, the web dashboard where a church changes where any disc points, to a new giving page or a seasonal campaign, in seconds, without reprinting a disc.

The server is live at https://tap.giving/mcp, with its source and documentation published in the public tap-giving-mcp repository on GitHub.

Tap.Giving was founded in 2025 and is based in Houston, Texas. More information is available at https://tap.giving.
